What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you create a show and generate episodes we record the show metadata, which of your brains you selected, the episode scripts produced (each with a citation pointer to the brain page it came from), and the narrated MP3 audio.

What we don't collect

We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell, share, or resell anything you generate.

Where data & audio live

Application data (shows, episodes, scripts, credit ledger entries) is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Episode audio is stored in Amazon S3 and served publicly by design — a podcast RSS feed only works if the audio is fetchable by podcast apps. The episode page and RSS feed are public; the feed URL carries an unguessable token, so only people you share it with can find it. Your brain content stays on ounie.com — Podcast Studio reads it at generation time through Ounie's API as you, and never keeps a copy of your sources.

Audio & voices

Narration is produced by a third-party text-to-speech provider (ElevenLabs) from the script text only. The synthesized voices are stock voices; the audio belongs to the account that generated it.

Payments

Payments happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes credit purchases. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. Stripe's privacy policy lives at stripe.com/privacy.

Deletion

Deleting an episode removes its audio file and page. To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
